Recently took my wife's car to Porsche for a service, in comparison the communication from bmw was so much better and linked up the service team to the customer. Something most garages don't do.

Brand new car with issues the next day which was really disappointing. The car was in the garage for 16 days as needed a new fuel pump and injectors. However service dept were amazing with Danny calling me every day with updates.

There was either miscommunication or a misunderstanding with part of what my car was in for. It got resolved eventually but I had to push for that. I thankfully added a note when checking my car in, otherwise it would've been totally missed.

I paid £150 for a BMW diagnosis and was told to replace the swirl flap for £2,484. Instead, a local mechanic cleaned it for £240, fixing the issue. It seems BMW prefers costly replacements over simple repairs to maximise profit.

My new car was delivered on time. Some minor issues were attended to immediately and to my complete satisfaction. The handover process was dealt with efficiently with the settings of my old X5 being transferred to the new one. Overall, well done.
